When my little one was born, I was bombarded with conflicting opinions on one-thousand-and-one things : from the correct way to bathe my baby, to the amount of sleep she needed, to diaper types and brands. Most of them are trivial. My little one survived and would thrive even if I had followed all those contradictory directions. But some are major things, decision that would impact, not only my little one, but also me and my husband as her parents.

I wished I knew half of the things I know now. But wishes are for genies, and human are given hindsight instead. So instead of wishing, I moved on and realized that there are mothers out there that are like me. Confused, afraid of making the wrong decision, and instead of celebrating their bundle of joy, become crippled with fear and doubts. I hope this blog, and what I write in it, can become their comfort that someone went through the same questions and they are not alone.

I would not pretend to know all the answers. I think no one does. What I offer is a glimpse of what I went through, and hopefully through my experiences and mistakes, others can gain insight and make their decision.
